The Amazing Bubble Man returns to the Edinburgh Fringe with a brand new show.

With a decade of sell out shows The Amazing Bubble Man is one of the most popular children’s shows in town.  There will, of course, be bubbles galore in shapes and sizes that you will not have seen before, as well as live music from Jet Black Pearl.

Louis explores the breathtaking dynamics of bubbles, combining comedy and artistry with audience participation and enough spellbinding tricks to keep everyone mesmerized. From square bubbles, fog and helium bubbles, giant bubbles, volcanoes, tornadoes and trampolines to people inside bubbles, The Amazing Bubble Man conjures shrieks of laughter and gasps of amazement from all ages.

The Edinburgh Reporter went to meet him at Udderbelly in George Square Garden this week where he was charming 4 year-old Storm Jardine into smiling and giggling from a fairly shaky start.

Louis Pearl is one of the world’s leading bubble-ologists.  He began in 1980 by making, demonstrating, and selling a toy called the Bubble Trumpet on a street corner in Berkeley, California. Eventually his toy company had 147 products with international manufacturing and distribution, but Louis found that he preferred playing with the toys rather than selling them. He sold Tangent Toys in 2002. Since then he has been touring the world, performing hundreds of shows every year.
