Frank Skinner: Man in a Suit, Assembly George Square, until 24 August, See venue for ticket availability and pricing
To be frank, Skinner is a winner with his first full-length Fringe outing in 7 years. His completely confident and relaxed demeanour is matched with many meandering anecdotes which are well-constructed and, ultimately, hilarious. The Assembly George Square theatre was roaring for the majority of the show.
An ever-appealing aspect of his delivery relates to his timing. His material is controlled and considered yet never feels restrictive, thanks largely to the peppering of more mature material in the latter half of the set.
Be warned, though; you may never look at a cut glass lemon squeezer or a ‘You are here’ arrow on a map in the same way again.
