Craigmount High won the final of the Law Society of Scotland Donald Dewar Memorial Debating Tournament 2014 which took place at The Scottish Parliament last night. Young people from schools around Scotland debated whether historic debt between Commonwealth countries should be written off. The debate was held in the chamber under the chairmanship of Deputy Presiding Officer John Scott.

The Craigmount winners were Liam Stewart and Michael Davidson.

Headteacher Dr John Campbell said:-“This is a magnificent achievement. The City should, in my view recognise this.
