Since its launch six months ago, Radio ENRG has become the platform for talk, tunes, tales and talent. Now home to over 20 unique shows, the station is winding down as the term comes to a close; what better way to start summer 2014 with a 36-hour fundraiser!
Radio ENRG (pronounced ‘energy’ – stands for ‘Edinburgh Napier Radio Group’) invites you to tune in to their first Charity Broadcast Bonanza which aims to raise £300 for two Scottish charities:- Alzheimer Scotland which provides a wide range of specialist services for people with dementia and their carers and Edinburgh Young Carers Project which is a voluntary organisation working with and on behalf of young carers throughout Edinburgh.
Station founder and presenter George Ward will be joined by host of ‘Rock Block’ Liam Hope alongside a host of Radio ENRG hosts throughout the 24-hours of live broadcasting on Monday 26 May and Tuesday 27 May, 8am-8pm. The 12-hour overnight pre-recorded segment will give listeners another chance to hear previous episodes of some of Radio ENRG’s shows.
Tune in for part (or all!) of the 36-hours and spread the word by tweeting about the event with the hashtag #enrgcbb. You can donate and request a shout-out for a friend or loved one via radioenrg@gmail.com
