Barnardo’s Scotland introduce spring stock in their shops

The clocks have changed, Easter’s on its way and Barnardo’s Scotland is introducing spring stock in their shops, so spring must be here!

Deriel Loftus, Area Business Manager for Barnardo’s shops in Crighton Place, Wester Hailes, Gorgie, Clerk Street, Stockbridge, Leith, South Queensferry and Portobello said: “Spring has sprung and what better way to start the new season off than bagging a bargain and being on trend for a fraction of the price.”

Deriel added: “As well as saving money there are a few feel good factors associated with charity shop buying. Most importantly, by shopping in your local Barnardo’s charity shop you will be helping support children and young people who use the local service in this area. And reusing and recycling means you’re doing your bit for the planet.”

Barnardo’s is hoping families planning to spring clean their homes will also be spring cleaning their wardrobes and donate their pre owned clothes to the charity.

Take advantage of your local charity shop to create your own design or follow the fashion trends. This spring the focus is on cropped tops, sheer detail, fringe and wide legged trousers. Colours are black and white, metallic, satin and shimmery pastels, white, of course, and a hint of pink.
