Police in Edinburgh are appealing for information in the search for a vulnerable 81 year old who has gone missing from his home in Granton.
William McNamara was last seen at 11.30 on Tuesday morning in Granton Park North. It is believed he may be around the Granton and Leith areas.
He is 5ft 2in tall, medium build, short grey hair and has a distinctive walk where he drags his leg. He was last seen wearing a navy top, 3-quarter length dark brown anorak and blue jogging bottoms.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We are urgently trying to trace William, who is a dementia sufferer. We are becoming increasingly worried about him and ask that anyone who recognises his description to get in touch with police on 101 immediately.”
