Cooper (1) (577x800)

Police in Edinburgh are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 25-year-old vulnerable man who has gone missing in the city.

Christopher Cooper has not been seen since leaving his home in Bingham Place, Edinburgh, yesterday afternoon (Monday, February 24, 2013). Officers are now urging anyone who believes they may have seen him to contact them.

He is described as six foot feet tall, with a slim, fair complexion and short brown straight hair. He was wearing a red hooded jumper with a ‘newtown dĆ©cor’ logo on the chest, grey cotton jogging bottoms and white trainers.

Inspector Graeme Dignan, who is leading the search, said: “We are very concerned for his well-being, and would urge Christopher to get in touch with family, friends or police to let us know he is safe and well.

“Similarly, we would ask anyone who believes they may have seen him since yesterday afternoon to contact Police Scotland on 101, or the charity Crimestoppers in confidence and complete anonymity on 0800 555 111.”
