The big cruise sale starts today with bargains from Leith to the Land of the Midnight Sun…
A new cruise brochure and new fares are on sale today from Cruise and Maritime Voyages (CMV) www.cruiseandmaritime.com 0844 414 6185.
The Company has increased its number of departures out of Scotland next year to 13 from 5 in 2013. Mike Hall, Head of Marketing at CMV said:- “Such was the demand for more cruises from Scotland that we have responded accordingly. Our Scottish passengers have told us through our on board questionnaires that they prefer to cruise from a local port to avoid long journeys to join a ship. Our new brochure includes discounts on many Scottish departures of up to 30%. The new fares in the brochure are on sale from 27 December 2013 until 14 March 2014 while cabins are still available.”
The CMV ship Discovery will sail from Rosyth, Glasgow Greenock and Edinburgh Leith in 2014. There are cruises to Iceland, Baltic Cities and Russia, Norwegian Fjords, the North Cape, Scottish Islands and Faroes to choose from.
Discovery is a traditional smaller ship with wooden decks, carrying up to 700 passengers, and able to reach more remote ports of call. She provides the unique country-house style experience on board that Cruise & Maritime Voyages is well known for. Most of the passengers are British and the currency on board is sterling.
