Police have arrested and charged a 46-year-old woman in connection with a break-in to a garage in Ratho where hundreds of porcelain dolls were stolen, along with football memorabilia.

The break-in happened in School Wynd sometime between Monday the 7th and Monday the 14th of October.

Around 100 stolen dolls have been recovered so far, and inquiries are on-going to locate the remaining dolls, along with the stolen football memorabilia.

In addition to the arrest of the woman, a further two people, a 52-year-old man and 50-year-old woman, have been arrested and charged with reset offences connected to the break-in.

Anyone who has any information on the whereabouts of the remaining stolen items should contact Police Scotland on 101, or make an anonymous report through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
