Every Day and Look Left Look Right present:

The Love Project – A verbatim play about Love.

IdeasTap-Underbelly award winners and new verbatim theatre company Every Day team up with double Fringe First winners Look Left Look Right to present The Love Project.

Four versatile actors play sixteen interviewees – from Cork to Canada, Glasgow to Germany. From Kate the teacher who just broke up with her fiancé, Callum the six year old who simply loves his Mum, to Cora and Bill fifty-six years married.

‘We’re still married after fifty-six years you know.

It’s weird isn’t it? But no no it’s marvellous, wonderful.’

(Cora, age 78)

Beautifully observed, capturing and weaving together hilarious, unbelievable, provocative and touching tales from a varied and colourful cross section of people. This piece paints an ultimately heart-warming human picture of the people we meet, the feelings we have, the unique lives we all lead.

‘Erm the only reason I broke up with him is because I found out that he was a huge show off.’

(Drew, age 9)

Created from interviews, this life-affirming play interlinks the personal love stories that unite us all. Researched and edited by Ellie Browning and Amy Michaels; Directed by Ellie Browning; Performed by Michael Cusick, Rachel Dale (Fringe First and Total Theatre award winner You Once Said Yes, 2011), Toby Manley (Fringe First winner, The Caravan, 2008 and lead in Scottish independent film Electric Man), Natasha Pring
