Two Edinburgh children’s authors have won the Scottish Children’s Book Awards held in Dundee today. Jonathan Meres won for his book The World of Norm: May Contain Nuts for 8-11 years and John Fardell was nominated for the 3-7 years category for The Day Louis Got Eaten and he won his section too. The Edinburgh Reporter met up with John Fardell who read a little of his book for us….

Perhaps you can help’ I am searching for a children’s writer or illustrator to bring to life my 15 knew children’s characters. My characters require life to enable production of more interesting stories. This would be a collaboration between me and one other.
