The organisers of Haddowfest have announced that the festival will now stage a monthly club night at The Liquid Rooms.
The first ‘Haddowfest:Presents’ will take place on 26 April 2013, with indie-folk band Meursault set to headline the event and curate the rest of the bill.
The night will be hosted by BBC Radio 1 DJ Ally McCrae, one of the nationwide station’s resident new music hosts.
Haddowfest, which will be staged for the fourth time next year, has seen the likes of The Cribs and Razorlight play alongside top Scottish bands at venues across the city. The first announcements on 2013’s line-up are expected in the next few weeks.
