The Moonwalk only began around midnight, and a short time later had climbed up the steep hill to the New Town.
Here are just a few shots from the top of that street. It is quite wet and dark for those taking part this year, and we are sure there will be a few weary souls crossing the finish line in a few hours. But we did not intend staying up all night!
