The BBC showed The Great Tram Disaster last night with the Transport Convenor Gordon Mackenzie explaining that he and other councillors did not have the correct background to run tie, the company set up to deliver the tram project to Edinburgh. You can watch it again on BBC iPlayer if you happened to miss the rather depressing story of what the city was promised and what will now be delivered. As costs have gone up the length of the tram line has gone down.
