Walking back along Princes Street just after one o’clock today we came across this pool of water which was unnavigable except with wellies. Even the dogs did not want to go in as it was so deep.
Then having crossed the street we found that a stretch of the barricades for the tram works has already fallen down….but the workmen were safely in their cabs keeping dry while the rest of us worked out how to try and keep our feet dry!
