Edinburgh Leisure are hosting their annual open day on Saturday 30th April at Port Edgar Marina and Sailing School where children and adults are invited to take part in a range of water and shore based activities, completely free of charge.
The event offers everyone the opportunity to try out an impressive range of water sports, from Dinghy Sailing to Power Boating and Kayaking, as well as land-based activities including Mountain Biking, Bouncy Castle, Football Speedshot Practice and Sumo Suits will also be on offer.
Adam Cruttenden, Leisure Manager at Port Edgar Marina and Sailing School enjoy having this event every year and said:- “The event has grown yearly with more activities enticing people to join in and try new sports. The shore-based activities also help to make the day a fun filled family day out for all ages”.
Prize draws will be held throughout the day with an opportunity for everyone to get involved and the café will be open for business making sure everyone is well fed.
Those who sign up on the day to one of our water sports courses will receive a 10% discount.
The event takes place from 10:00hrs to 16:00hrs at Port Edgar Marina, Shore Road, South Queensferry, Edinburgh, EH30 9SQ.
