Edinburgh’s newest musical instrument repair business, Edinburgh Guitar Repair Centre, has been inundated with requests for its services since its launch just over a month ago. Already, emails and calls have been pouring in from all over the UK and even as far a field as Sweden!
The company which operates from Morningside School of Music in Edinburgh has been so busy, they have had to bring in extra technicians and even work through the night!
Centre manager, David Jeans, said ‘We had no idea we would be so busy, we have been run off our feet, in a very good way!’
The centre has repaired everything from a £40 beginners guitar to a £26,000 vintage Gibson Les Paul guitar. All the technicians based there are qualified and have worked in the industry for many years.
