We are seeking a creative and energetic scientist/technologist to support the Director in the development and growth of Edinburgh International Science Festival. Suitable candidates will be up to date with current issues and able to communicate effectively with our partners, stakeholders and audiences.
Edinburgh International Science Festival is the premier science festival in the UK with a mission to inspire, encourage and challenge people of all ages and backgrounds to explore and understand the world around them. This new post is aimed at developing the Festival to the next level and will involve programming of the Festival and the development of new content both internally and with our partners.
An early appointment is anticipated to allow the successful candidate to engage with the forthcoming Festival in April 2011 prior to focussing on the 2012 Festival. We would expect this to be a full time position with a salary of up to £40k according to experience.
