Tyler Dibling is determined to show Everton FC what he can do and he naturally hopes to be included in the squad for the challenge match against Premiership rivals, Newcastle United, at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on Wednesday, August 12 (kick-off 17.15pm).
The 20-year-old believes his encouraging showing against Stuttgart last weekend was his best game for Everton since his move from Southampton.
The Blues were edged out 3-1 at MHP Arena on Saturday against Bundesliga opponents who will play in this season’s Champions League, but observers felt the result did not tell the full story.
Thierno Barry’s second-half penalty proved the only reward from a performance that created a flurry of chances, especially in the first half, and Dibling was integral to that.
He carryied the ball numerous times and went close to netting his maiden goal for the club nicknamed The Toffees goal when a snapshot was turned around the post by Stuttgart goalkeeper Fabian Bredlow.
Digling feels he is in the right environment to fulfill his promise as one of the Premier League’s brightest talents and he told the club’s website: “I haven’t shown my best in an Everton shirt yet, but I’m working hard to get there.
“I’ve got the support here to do that – 100 per cent. I’ve got the other lads, the coaching staff. I’m settled and determined to show what I’m capable of.”
