Cami Brown wants a special performance from his Allied Vehicles side in the BSN Series decider against Edinburgh Monarchs at Ashfield on (Sunday) at 3pm.
Tigers’ team manager Brown (pictured) has a full-strength team after Leon Flint and Mario Hausl return from international duty with Great Britain and Germany.
Brown said: “We need to win and take the bonus point to give ourselves a chance of qualifying from the Scottish group.
“Edinburgh have several guys who are good at Ashfield, so it’s always going to be difficult.”
The Scottish derby always brings out an extra few per cent from every rider, said Brown who added: “They know what it means to the fans.
“We’ve just got to concentrate on our job in hand and get the 46 points and I want a special performance from all our boys.”
Brown wants to see more from his reserves and Freddy Hodder has been practicing at Ashfield. He is desperate to put in a better show.
The team boss said: “We know what our top three can do. They’ve been consistent, but they need a bit more back-up. If we can do that, we can get the results we want and need.
“Last season we had four sensational meetings with the Monarchs at our place. Three of them, on aggregate, ended with just two points between the sides. It’s going to be a close call again this season.”
