Lee Wallace, a former Hearts and Scotland player, has joined the first-team coaching team at Tynecastle.
He has been promoted from the club’s Transition Phase Coach and will play a key role in supporting the first-team squad.
The 39-year-old will, said a statement, bring his experience of working with the club’s younger players to the first team environment.
Meanwhile, two of the Jambos away matches in December have been rescheduled because of television.
The club’s trip to St Mirren on Saturday, December 5, will kick-off at 17.30 and be broadcast live on Premier Sports.
And the club’s game at Ibrox against Rangers on Sunday, December 20, will be broadcast on Sky Sports at 14.30.
