Glasgow Tigers will track three guests as they bid to hold onto the Scottish Cup when they visit Edinburgh Monarchs in the second-leg on Friday (tapes up 7.30pm).
Edinburgh lead in the series stretching back to 1951 and Monarchs won 48-42 at Glasgow on July 11.
Edinburgh’s No 1, Dan Thompson, is not expected to return from his recent dislocated shoulder and his replacement will be Workington’s in-form Aussie Tate Zischke.
The home side will also be minus captain Paco Castagna who is en route to the European Pairs in Poland and his replacement is still to be confirmed.
Berwick Bandits star, Nick Morris, comes in for Kyle Howarth in Glasow’s line-up. Howarth stood down from the sport earlier in the summer, and Morris’s form is outstanding at the moment.
He will be heading for Plymouth the day after the Armadale clash as Berwick race there in the Knockout Cup Final second leg.
Both Tigers’ reserves are missing and they will field Vinnie Foord and Ashton Vale in these positions.
Monarchs’ team manager, Alex Harkess (pictured left), said: “We start in front, and normally would be confident with the home leg coming up, though the absentees maybe work against us.
“I still feel we can win as I know the riders are determined to finish the season on a high, and send the supporters home happy.”
Friday’s matches will be live streamed for those who cannot attend and details are on www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk.
