Hibs fans hoping to see the return of Nectar Triantis to Easter Road have been left disappointed after the midfielder elected to continue his career across the Atlantic in the MLS.
Over the past two seasons Triantis played 50 times for Hibs, scored three goals and provided six assists.
The Greek international was part of the squad that finished the 2024-25 Premiership season with a 17-game unbeaten streak, including three consecutive shutouts at the end of the season.
Despite reports that Hibs were willing to spend a seven figure fee on the Sunderland star, last night he signed a deal with Minnesota United.

“His technical qualities combined with his ability to affect games in both defensive and offensive set pieces is something we highly value. We are looking forward to seeing Nectarios grow his game with Minnesota United.”
Triantis added; “I am very excited to be joining Minnesota, and I am looking forward to playing in front of our passionate fans and giving my all for the club.”
