The Cousin Trophy. first played for in 1950 at Edinburgh Curling Club, was given a major revamp in its 75th year and in the new format Team Keron lifted the venerable silverware from competition that included players from Canada, Denmark and England.



Rather than running a season long round robin league the competition was converted into a two day, four game. Bonspiel, with eight teams taking part at Curl Edinburgh.

After three rounds the teams were split into a top four high road and bottom four low road. One more round of games were played with all teams still in contention for a prize.

After all games were completed the high road winner was clear; one team had won all four of their games. In the low road, it was a much closer affair with shots difference separating the top two.
