Morningside gallery SH Jewellery will launch its Contemporary Jewellery Event in store this weekend, celebrating a whole year since the first Pre-Loved Range piece was sold, giving previously owned contemporary jewellery a chance to be loved and worn again.
This weekend, 70 new pieces have been released, with prices from just £20, lovingly assessed, cleaned, photographed and displayed by jeweller and gallery owner Sarah Hutchison.
The full range of pieces is available to browse in store now at 98 Morningside Road, until 5.30pm on Saturday, 14th September.
In addition to the newly released pre-loved pieces, the gallery is also hosting its first-ever Pre-Loved Range Sale to celebrate a year of the initiative, with more than 50 items available to buy at bargain prices.
Pieces will be reduced in store over the weekend for this event only, and some will then be available on the Instagram page and the website from next week, @sh_chance_to_sparkle and www.shjgallery.com.
Sarah Hutchison, jeweller and owner of SH Jewellery, said: “I find it absolutely incredible to think that the pre-loved range has been available for a whole year! It’s been a huge success, with more than 750 pieces listed and at least two-thirds of those sold.
“These are beautiful, contemporary pieces of jewellery that simply don’t get the love they deserve, so finding new homes for them has been an absolute joy.
“Previous owners are able to sell their pieces via a reputable jeweller who really understands the contemporary jewellery market; buyers can secure exceptional pieces at vastly reduced prices; and stunning jewellery gets a second life and a chance to sparkle again. Everybody wins!”
