The free Edinburgh Multicultural Festival takes place on Sunday at Lauriston Castle from 1 to 7pm with a mix of music, poetry and dance.
Activities will include “family cultural experiences” in the Edinburgh-Kyoto Friendship Garden, “thought provoking poetry” in the Steward’s House, and music of all genres performed on the Main Stage.
Mio Shudo returns with a Japanese Tea Ceremony and Josephine Morton with a Taiwanese Knitting exhibition. Live music will be provided by the Sitar Project and cultural dance performances featuring Ahalya Dance Academy.
Festival Directors Morgan Njobo and Morgan Withers said: “We are delighted to be returning to Lauriston Castle with more music, dance, poetry and much more!’
Food and drink stalls will offer a choice of tastes from across the world.
