Wemyss Malts has unveiled a new limited edition, hand-crafted Scotch whisky – Nectar Grove – which they say is an adventurous exploration of flavour with a “beautiful succulent character”.

Nectar Grove is an exclusive limited edition small batch release with a blend of fine single malts filled into hand-selected Madeira wine casks to perfectly marry with the oak for a “rich, warm finish”.

With sweeping stone fruits, orange zest, sweet wine and pastel de nata, Nectar Grove captures the feeling of meandering through sun-drenched boulevards. This exclusive release is a “sumptuous blended Scotch malt whisky designed to be savoured and enjoyed”.

The tasting notes are: “On the nose, the whisky features aromas of sunbaked peaches, dried apricot and succulent nectarines. On the palate, you can expect orange oil, sumptuous rich vanilla and caramelised sugar. Complete with a warm finish of complex spices, toasted saffron and crystallised ginger.

Non-chilled – filtered and bottled at 46% there are 3,000 bottles of the hand-crafted Scotch whisky available worldwide – making it one of the most exclusive releases from the award-winning brand.

Nectar Grove is available now via the Wemyss Malts website (RRP £55).
