An exhibition of work by Debbie Mountain opened this weekend at Art & Craft Collective on Causewayside.
Debbie is a new artist working in oils. Her work involves creating almost monochromatic three-dimensional paint pyramids or pulling paint over torn photos. Inspired by minimalism, this artist’s work is a reference to itself, not seeking to express emotion or representation. It does not allude to anything, except the joyful exploration of the materialism of paint and paper.
The exhibition continues until 5 November.
