Neil Lennon should find out today whether Kristoffer Ajer and Mohamed Elyounoussi can play against Hibs at Easter Road on Saturday despite one of the Norway squad testing positive for Covid-19.
Norway international Omar Elabdellaoui tested positive for COVID-19 last Friday, and the local health authorities in the country are demanded that the entire squad, including Ajer and Elyounoussi gointo quarantine for ten days.
The Norway players were due to travel for their UEFA Nations League clash against Romania on Saturday
Ajer and Elyounoussi were found not to be close contacts of Elabdellaoui, and the pair are back in Scotland.
Both players are reported to have each returned three negative Covid-19 tests.
That decision will be made by Scottish football’s Joint Response Group, in consultation with the Scottish government, following a meeting later on today.
