A woman found seriously injured in Laverockbank Road around 5.30pm on Sunday, 27 September, has now been identified.

Details were circulated via the mainstream media and social media and officers would like to thank everyone who got in touch as a result of their appeal to find out her identity.

An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances involved.
