A police investigation is ongoing after the body of a man was found in Granton earlier today.
Officers sealed off Granton Crescent Park to enable a detailed search of the area after the discovery at around 10:20am this morning.
Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death are underway but at this stage investigating officers do not believe them to be suspicious.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.20am on Tuesday, 22 September, 2020, the body of a man was found near Granton Crescent, Edinburgh.
“Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing but it is not believed to be suspicious. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
