Hibs have renewed their relationship with Environmental Waste Controls (EWC) as the club’s Official Waste Partner for a further four years.
EWC are a multiple award-winning waste and recycling management company, with an excellent track record in protecting and enhancing the environment.
As part of the agreement, they will manage the waste at both Easter Road Stadium and the Hibernian Training Centre.
Stirling Scott, EWC’s National Account Manager, said of the extension of a successful partnership: “As a lifelong supporter, I’m proud to be able to both continue and grow our commercial and business relationships with Hibs. Working with Murray Milligen in a commercial sense and Rab Dunne (Facilities Supervisor) environmentally, we will work together and make Hibs even greener.”
Murray Milligen, Hibernian’s Commercial Manager, added: “We’re delighted to be working with EWC again for a further four years. They have played a huge role in positioning Hibernian FC as ‘The Greenest Club in Scotland’.
“We’re committed to ensuring we are leading the way in terms of environmental sustainability in Scottish football and EWC are a key part of that. We are grateful to Stirling Scott and his team for their efforts in helping the club continue to meet these environmental objectives.”
