The lights of our theatres may be dimmed for now but the Edinburgh International Festival is determined that we get our usual culture fix this August.

The festival organisers gathered together some of the performers to create unique performances which are then being broadcast on the EIF’s YouTube channel. Observing physical distancing and strict Covid-19 measures as to arrival and departure from a venue, the videos created go a long way to make up for the emptiness in the city this month. Not only that, but the festival was able to offer real employment to around 500 people in the making of the performances.

Join in below and feast your eyes and ears on the performances created at the Festival Theatre. There is drama, ballet and music all here to entertain you.
