Challenge Cup, quarter-final, first-leg: Dundee Stars 1, Glasgow Clan 1

Glasgow Clan now appear to be in the box seat in the race to earn a place in the Challenge Cup semi-final.

Zack Fitzgerald’s men take a 1-1 draw earned at The Dundee Ice Arena into the second-leg in Glasgow on Wednesday, December 11.

In a tense first-leg, the sides blanked the first period but it did not take the visitors long to break the deadlock.

Chad Rau slotted home only 45 seconds after the re-start with Nolan LePorte and Travis Ehrhardt involved in the build-up.

Anthony Beauregard was set-up by 21-year-old, Dundee-born defenceman Kris Inglis to level in the 36th minute.
