Bass Rock members are in competition again on Wednesday night in a rover competition.

Non-members are always welcome and registration is at Tyninghame Village Hall at 6.30pm.

Fishing starts at 7pm and boundaries are the choice of each individual angler.

The competition stops at 10pm and it is back to Tyninghame for the scales at 10.20pm.
Low tide on Wednesday is roughly 8.50pm.

Craig Ogilvie, the club’s chairman, said he was keen to try something different and Tyninghame was a central location for most anglers.

He added: “This could possibly be better for all future rover events and will, hopefully, keep everybody happy.

“Make sure you are back at our scales 10.20pm to record your fish.”

He added: “There have been loads of cod caught from our shores over the last few days.”
