On Friday 19th July, the BBC Adventure Show are looking to broadcast live from the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena and are looking for climbers to take part in the show.
During the day there will be pre-recorded filming happening between 1500 and 1800, looking specifically at speed climbing and bouldering. Pre-event registration is not necessary, however experience in the two disciplines required.
During the live, televised show, there will be a lead climbing competition and those wishing to take part must pre-register and come supplied with a rope and belay partner. Again, experienced (onsight 7a) climbers only.
There is also the possibility of being roped in (no pun intended!) for interviews and demonstrations on the day.
Details and registration can be found on the ClimbScotland website
The event will also be available to view on the BBC Scotland iPlayer
