Lothian’s new partnership with Pride Edinburgh is pretty obvious to see. Look at this new eye-catching colourful bus now travelling around the city.
Lothian is now the official transport partner, helping to promote equality and diversity in and around Edinburgh.
Pride Edinburgh is Scotland’s National LGBTI Festival, relaunched in 2015. This year celebrates 22 years since Pride began in Scotland with the first ever festival taking place in Edinburgh in 1995.
As part of the partnership Lothian have gifted Pride Edinburgh with a bus wrapped in Pride colours and logos. Created by Lothian’s in-house design team, the bus will be hard to miss around the city showcasing the businesses support.
Brett Herriot from Pride Edinburgh said: “We are delighted to develop our partnership with Lothian, in this year where prides around the world mark the 50th Anniversary of the stonewall uprising the global starting point for the pride movement and in Lothians Centenary year its a potent marker of how far we have come on the journey to equality for all irrespective of colour, creed, gender or sexuality. The new Pride bus will be a shining beacon in the city and will showcase Lothians inclusive working environment and the welcoming service it provides for all citizens of the capital city.”
The company also supported Pride Edinburgh in 2018 and as well as the wrapped bus, Lothian are supplying two open top vehicles for the Pride Scotia March this Saturday, 22nd June.

The Pride Scotia March kicks off from 11.30am on Saturday.
