Although the powers to introduce a transient visitor levy or tourist tax have not yet been debated or passed by Holyrood, the Old Town Community Council wants to know how the funds could be spent.
They are running a Twitter poll until 19 May to see what members of the public think the priorities are. They hope that they can help the decision makers spend what they describe as ‘a windfall’ more appropriately.
The new Transient Visitor Levy would bring in an extra £14,600,000 a year for @Edinburgh_CC.

It’s about supporting the cost of mass tourism in Edinburgh.
So, how do you think it should be spent ?
