Stevie Mallan has won both the Hibs’ Players’ Player of the Year and Player of the Year awards, sponsored by ime DJK Group Ltd and Caledonian Heating & Plumbing Ltd respectively.
More than 500 supporters packed Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange for the annual event.
Following his summer move from Barnsley, and with three games left of the campaign, he has 13 goals and 11 assists to his name in all competitions.
A season-ending knee injury in January did nothing to dilute the appreciation of Hibernian Academy graduate Ryan Porteous, who beat off stiff competition to win the Young Player of the Year title, which was backed by JB Contracts (Scotland) Ltd. Daryl Horgan’s second goal in the 2-1 win over Hearts won Goal of the Season (sponsored by AKD Electrical), while the performance and result itself was decreed Moment of the Season, sponsored by Environmental Waste Controls. There was also recognition for 12-year-old Cole Hamilton, who was the deserved winner in our Academy Player of the Year category, sponsored by CBR Maintenance.
