Vue Edinburgh Omni hosts exclusive director Q&A for premiere of RISE: The Story of the Augustines

AUGUSTINES lead singer, director and producer, Todd Howe, is set to host an exclusive Q&A ahead of Edinburgh Omni’s screening of the newly released, RISE: The Story of the Augustines on 22 March 2019.

Exploring the compelling true story of struggle, perseverance, and hope, Todd – who produces and stars in the movie – will answer audience questions ahead of the Vue Edinburgh Omni screening tomorrow.

Starring William McCarthy, Eric Sanderson, and Robert Allen as themselves, the remarkable story documents the band Pela’s demise when they learn of the death of McCarthy’s brother James who committed suicide after a lengthy incarceration.

Following their attempt at the impossible in trying to complete the album in tribute to James, the movie documents the bands battle to produce Rise Ye Sunken Ships, as the pair join up with friend Robert Allen to rise once more, as Augustines.

Tickets for RISE: The Story of Augustines at Edinburgh Omni, including the Q&A, are available now and can be booked at www.myvue.com
