Florian Kamberi won the Veen Barbers Goal of the Month Award for December for his powerful strike against Celtic.
The Swiss forward received a pass from Sean Mackie and drove at goal before thumping the ball into the top corner of Craig Gordon’s net to seal a 2-0 win for Hibs against the reigning Ladbrokes Premiership champions.
The striker opened the scoring in yesterday’s Scottish Cup win over Elgin City and left the field to a well-deserved standing ovation from the Hibs’ fans for his overall performance after being replaced by Oli Shaw.
Flo was presented with the award by Mako, Owner of Veen Barbers, on Friday afternoon and fended off competition from Vykintas Slivka, Ryan Porteous and Darren McGregor for the prize.
