Dundee 0 Heart of Midlothian 3
Ladbrokes Premiership – Tuesday 23rd October 2018 – Kilmac Dens Park
Hearts extended their lead at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership to six points after another impressive victory, this time at bottom club Dundee on Tuesday evening.
Early goals from Oliver Bozanic and Steven Naismith – continuing the Scotland striker’s rich vein of form – put Craig Levein’s side firmly in control. Steven MacLean added a third goal for the visitors at the start of the second half,
Dundee – with former Hearts goalkeeper Jack Hamilton back in goal – struggled all evening and missed a first half penalty when Calvin Miller’s weak penalty trundled wide of the post.
It was another fine performance from Hearts at a venue where they often struggle.
Hearts will now prepare for Sunday’s Betfred Cup semi-final tie with Celtic at BT Murrayfield. The club announced today they have sold more than 27,000 tickets for the game which has a 1.30pm kick-off.
