Hearts have confirmed the signing of American goalkeeper Kevin Silva on a two-year contract. Silva was on trial at Tynecastle during pre-season and impressed Head Coach Craig Levein sufficiently to earn a deal in Gorgie.
The Pennsylvania-born player had been with Rutgers Scarlet Knights, a university team from New Jersey.
Hearts have also been linked with Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Colin Doyle who left English side Bradford City at the end of last season.
