Artisan Real Estate Investors have won a high profile industry award for their property developments at their flagship development at New Waverley along with other sites in Glasgow.
Welcoming the award win, Artisan’s Chief Executive Jaco Jansen said: “This award recognises Artisan’s growing presence and influence across the Scottish property scene.
“We have forged a strong reputation with New Waverley over the last few years and I am especially pleased that Artisan is now being recognised for its wider investment across Scotland, including other developments in Edinburgh and two significant regeneration projects in Glasgow which will come of age in 2018.”
Artisan was also nominated at the awards for the Deal of the Year category, which recognised the landmark property deal agreed in July 2017 to bring 2,900 HMRC jobs right to the heart of Edinburgh, with the lease of New Waverley’s 190,000 sq. ft. new office building to the Government Property Agency (GPA) – described at the time as the city’s largest office leasing deal for more than 20 years.
Artisan have current projects of around 1.5 million square feet which amounts to around £400 million in value.
