Elite League: Dundee Stars 4, Fife Flyers 3 (after overtime); Manchester Storm 3, Braehead Clan 4; Edinburgh Capitals 2, Guildford Flames 4

Third period goals from Kruise Reddick and Brett Ferguson in the final five minutes sent bottom club Edinburgh Capitals skidding to another League defeat.

Edinburgh and Guildford Flames sides were locked at 2-2 after the second period.

John Dunbar and Jesse Craige netted first period goals for Flames and Pavel Vorobyev scored twice in the second for the home side.

Elsewhere, Robert Lepine netted early in the final session to clinch a 4-3 victory for Braehead Clan at Manchester Storm and snap a two-game losing streak.

The home side led 3-2 after 19 seconds of the final period but Michal Gutwald levelled just over a minute later and Lepine’s goal came after 44 minutes.

In Dundee, Stars collected their third straight win with a 4-3 overtime success over arch rivals Fife Flyers.

The Tayside team lead 3-1 after 31 minutes but Shayne Stockton and Evan Bloodoff levelled by the 43rd minute to set up the extra period.

Former Braehead defenceman Cody Carlson was the hero with the game-winner 1min 42sec into overtime.
