Well, you will certainly feel smarter by the time you leave The Stand after Caulfield’s show. She shares with her audience the benefit of her wisdom on many subjects, including how to change your partner.

But if your name is Simon (‘never really liked that name…’) maybe you should change it before you go. Or at least make sure that you have a partner with a name that Caulfield likes a little better.

But beware what you change it to as you will be lauded and paraded in front of your fellow audience members. If you are shy and retiring then you would be well advised to retire to the back of the hall.

Her husband has really never had a chance since she first met him (even before speaking one word to him). He has however offered up a suggestion about how his life will play out which affords Caulfield one of the best lines of the show (you’ll know it when you see it!)

Her girly friends are also included in the act.  I do hope their names have been changed to protect their identity.

This is an accomplished performer at work. You will laugh at some bits, empathise enthusiastically with others, but you will definitely enjoy. The run finishes on 27 August.
