Marathonbet are supporting Lewis Stevenson’s testimonial and celebrating his dedicated Hibs career.
Stevenson, who is the club’s longest-serving player, will mark over a decade of service at Hibernian with a clash against Sunderland at Easter Road on July 9th.
Stevenson made his first team debut debut against Ayr in a 2005 League Cup tie and has since gone on to appear 362 times for the Edinburgh side.
Since then, the 29 year old defender has become the only Hibs player to have won both the Scottish Cup and the League Cup.
Viktor Hoffman, CEO of the Marathonbet Group, said: “Footballers who stay with one club their entire careers are a rarity these days, which is why it’s a real privilege for us to support Lewis Stevenson’s testimonial.
“We can all take inspiration from the kind of loyalty and commitment Lewis has shown Hibernian.
“We’ll celebrate that in good fashion on July 9 and cannot wait to hear the Easter Road faithful pay tribute to one of their own.”
At the request of Lewis, half the proceeds from this match will be shared between the following charities. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), Leith Links and other Hibernian related Childrens Charities.
