Edinburgh-based IT and infrastructure consultancy company FarrPoint has opened a new office in London to support its rapid expansion and as a base for its activities across the country.

The firm’s turnover has increased by 28 per-cent in the last year and has expanded its team to 12 employees.

Dr Andrew Muir, co-founder, said: “We have had a great start to the year, winning business and taking on staff. In the coming months we will be expanding our range of services and looking to further increase our client base, which would allow us to create more jobs.”

Significant recent client wins include overseeing the connectivity and infrastructure for the Glasgow 2018 European Championships, broadband intervention support for West Yorkshire, Nottingham and West Oxfordshire Councils and a cyber-strategy for a major national retail organisation.
