Brasserie Les Amis in Edinburgh’s city centre has been sold and rebranded as ISHKA, and is now a restaurant and cocktail bar.

Formerly a French themed restaurant and delicatessen,  the landlord of the Morrison Street premises wanted to move on as he had other business and personal commitments in the UK and France.

Stuart Drysdale, associate director in agents Christie & Co, said: “Demand for restaurant space in the city is high but the landlord was more interested in securing the person or company he felt was right to maximise the venue’s potential.”
