Danny Swanson will join Hibs in the summer from St Johnstone on a pre-contract agreement.
The 30-year-old attacking midfielder, 30 started his career with Berwick Rangers before moving to Dundee United for whom he played over 100 times.
In 2014 he moved to Peterborough United playing 62 times and scoring 14 goals before moving to Coventry City.
Whilst at Coventry returned to Scotland on loan to St Johnstone.
In 2016 he joined Hearts but only played eight games before returning to Perth with the Saints.
He has been in fine form this season and was linked with Hibs during the January transfer window.
Swanson told Hibernian Media: “The opportunity to sign for Hibernian was one I couldn’t resist. I’m an Edinburgh boy and grew up supporting the Hibees.
“It’s always been an ambition of mine to play for the club and I am looking forward to this new challenge and to help achieve their goals back in the Ladbrokes Premiership.”
